U.S. VeteranMr. Alvin Wesley Walsworth, age 90 of Jonesboro, passed from this life November 16, 2017. Mr. Walsworth honorably served his country in the United States Army. He had a love for the outdoors and was an avid gardener.
Friends may visit with the family 12:00PM until 2:00PM Sunday, November 19 at Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM in the Edmonds Chapel with Bro. Butch Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at the Springhill Baptist Church, under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mr. Walsworth is survived by his children, Carol Buller (Randy), Jack Walsworth (Tammy), Douglas Walsworth, Barbara Trosclair (Matt Sr.); grandchildren, Michael Buller (Crystal), Blake Walsworth, Jacob Walsworth, Steven Davis, Lyndie Smith, Monica Lemoine, Matt Trosclair Jr., Cody Trosclair; sister, Ruth Turner. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Patricia Walsworth; his parents, Sherwood and Fannie (Taylor) Walsworth; daughter, Sandra Nell Walsworth; grandchild, Lisa Ann Trosclair; two brothers, Alcom Walsworth Edward Walsworth.
Serving as pallbearers with be Mr. Walsworth's grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
