Edna B. Schardein, 89, died Dec. 21, 1989, at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was born Nov. 24, 1900, at Abbyville, the daughter of W. S. and Annie Mitzner Waddle. She lived in Partridge since 1925, and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the World Wide Church of God, Wichita.

On Aug. 12, 1925, she married Frank C. Schardein at Dodge City. He died May 11, 1988.

Survivors include: one son, Donald, Partridge; one daughter, Joan Ulmer, Greensburg; two sisters, Blanche Osenbaugh and Mildred Dunn, both of Abbyville; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Stan McNeil presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time today at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Partridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the Partridge Community Church in care of the mortuary.
