He was a Marine Corp. Vet and a retired firefighter.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Jeri Oliver, 5 children and their families and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Shorty Oliver and sister Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his son, Deputy Danny Oliver and his mother Lena Ross and many other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Danny Oliver Foundation, P.O. Box 1704, Shingle Springs, CA 95682. There will be a visitation for William from 2pm to 8 pm, Friday, November 17, 2017 at River Cities Funeral Chapel, 910 Soule St., West Sacramento, Ca. 95691. A funeral Service will also be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 am at River Cities.
