Gemma R. (Caporali) Wesolosky, 89, of Freeport passed away peacefully at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Jefferson Township. Born in Freeport on July 11, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Lino and Camilla (Gallo) Caporali. Mrs. Wesolosky was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Freeport. She is survived by two sons, Joseph M. (Nancy) Wesolosky of Louisville, Ky., and John D. (Jackqueline) Wesolosky of Kaneohe, Hawaii; and two grandsons, Patrick (Marika) Wesolosky of Lexington, Ky., and Matthew (Kim) Wesolosky of Louisville, Ky. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph E. Wesolosky, who passed away in 2001; and her brother Mario Caporali. Friends and family are being received Monday from 7-9 p.m. in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport, where a parish wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Monday. A parting prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Freeport, with Rev. Thomas Federline officiating. Graveside services will take place at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
