Collision Kills Two Glasgow Youths
Glasgow--Two Glasgow youths were killed and another injured early Monday morning when the sedan in which they were riding smashed into a trailer loaded with pipe on U. S. Highway No. 2 in Glasgow.
Dead are Alex Allie, 21, and Don Fuhrman, 18. Allie recently returned from Korea and Fuhrman was a 1953 graduate of Glasgow High School. Allie was dead on arrival at the hospital. Fuhrman was killed instantly. The driver of the car, Wayne Engstrom, 18, suffered facial cuts and was treated.
Witnesses said the sedan in which the youths were riding smashed into a seismograph truck-trailer loaded with pipe. The pipe ran through the car and out the back.
