Jack Linwood Turner, 87, a lifetime resident of Creedmoor passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late William A. and Dovie H. Turner. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired auto mechanic. Jack also served his Country in the US Navy.
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor by Pastor Craig Currin. Burial will follow the service at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Russell of Stem and Sandra Bishop of Creedmoor; two sons, Jackie Turner and Everett Turner, both of Creedmoor; a sister, Alice Scurlock of Creedmoor; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren , many loving nieces and nephews and his devoted care companion, Kay Turner. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Grace Minton and Alice Lynn Hassell.
Visitation will be held Friday evening November 17, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:30 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
