Lillian Esther Callahan, 93, of Quincy, a retired bookkeeper for Boston Gas Co., died Sunday at the West Acres Nursing Home, Brockton after a brief illness. Daughter of the late Jeremiah J. and Mary Ellen (Sullivan) Callahan.
Miss Callahan worked for Boston Gas for 47 years and retired in 1968.
She is survived by a nephew George Callahan of Quincy; four nieces, Muriel Maw of Rockland, Ruth Miller of Rhode Island, Janet Corcoran of Needham and Patricia Riley of Quincy; and many grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
ARRANGEMENTS:
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 am, Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church. Visiting will be 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery
