Obituary for Joshua Todd Hager
Joshua Todd Hager, 33, died unexpectedly Monday, November 13, 2017. He was the son of Debbie Parks Hager and the late Burch A. Hager. He was also the fiancé of Shay Blair. Josh was an avid outdoorsman who liked riding horses and any type of hunting; especially deer hunting, and coon hunting. He enjoyed working with wood, and attended Bethel Christian Church. Josh was super proud that he received his GED in May of 2017. He was a magnet for kids. He loved kids and they loved him. He enjoyed teaching them about hunting and other handyman craftsmanship’s. He especially loved spending time with his niece Savannah, nephew Tyler, and his fiancé’s children, Shaylyn, Ethan, Stephen, and Shana. His sister’s children Chelsea, Kealan, and Adrianna.
Additional survivors include his sister, Misty LeMay (Jo) Hager, niece Savannah, Adkins, nephew Tyler Murphy, Paternal Grandmother Mary Anna “Dandy” Hager, maternal grandparents Bobby and Ann Parks, Aunts and Uncles, Jan and Mike Hager, Donna and Johnny Hager and Teresa Walker. His cousins include Anna, Aaron, Aly, Willie, Vance, Vickie, Caleb, Tucker, Karen, Rachel, Deana, Chastity, Jeremy. Special friends Jack & Patty Cooper.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his sister Valerie Hager Adkins and Aunt & Uncle Terry and Brenda Hager. Grandfather Bob Hager, cousins Hope & Michael Hager. Special friend Nolie Blakeman.
Funeral services will be 11:00, Friday, at Betts & West with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Pallbearers Josh Teater, Adam White, Cam & Craig Ryan, Johnny, Mike, Vance, and Aaron Hager. Jack Cooper, Tyler Murphy, Hershel & Joe Morris, Justin Harvey, Anthony Roe & Kevin Barnes.
Honorary pallbearers Contessa Small, Ashley Tanner, Sheree Cunningham. Jan & Donna Hager, Helen “Red” Kouns and Kevin Corman.
Visitation will be Noon-9 at Betts & West Funeral Home, on Thursday November 16. Burial will be at the House Cemetery.
