Abilene - Norma went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at age 87.
Norma grew up in Stamford where she was a cheerleader in High School.
She lived most of her adult life in Odessa where she raised her family. She later became a certified Nanny and worked in Denver and Abilene.
Most recently, she lived in Abilene.
Norma was a member of the Beta Sigma Pi Sorority for over 60 years.
She is survived by her son, Gordon Peppard and wife Denice of Burleson, and daughter, Andrea Hughes and husband Jeb of Midland. Three grandchildren - Amy Hughes of Austin, Meagan Hughes and husband Jason DaSilva of Providence, Rhode Island, and Crystal Larson and husband Travis, and great grandson, Brock of Round Rock.
