William Henderson's parents John Henderson (1724-1794) and Jane LNU. John's will was probated June 4, 1793, Mecklenburg County, NC. It names his sons John and William, daughter Mary her grandson James Davis. In his will he leaves James Davis his land. The deed photo I uploaded is the deed. As you can see, William Sr. is James Guardian, and William Jr. and John Henderson are executors. Witness to the document is Betsey Baldridge William Jr.'s soon to be wife.

He was born in 1746 and contributed of his material wealth to the cause of the Revolution of 1776 and was repaid for this service by the state of North Carolina. The name of his first wife is not known but his second wife was Nancy Baldridge of Lincoln County, N. C. His children included five daughters and two sons. He died 17 Oct 1822 at 76 years of age."
