William Henderson's parents John Henderson (1724-1794) and Jane LNU. John's will was probated June 4, 1793, Mecklenburg County, NC. It names his sons John and William, daughter Mary her grandson James Davis. In his will he leaves James Davis his land. The deed photo I uploaded is the deed. As you can see, William Sr. is James Guardian, and William Jr. and John Henderson are executors. Witness to the document is Betsey Baldridge William Jr.'s soon to be wife.

*Note* Per the records and information that has been added since this was first written, his first wife was Mary Giles whom he married in1775, his 2nd wife was Mary Beard whom he married in 1787 and his 3rd wife was Nancy Baldridge whom he married in 1797. He had a total of (6) daughters and (5) sons.

"HENDERSON, William was one of the Hopewell colony of Associate Reformed Presbyterians who immigrated from North Carolina in 1806 or 1807. He was born in 1746 and contributed of his material wealth to the cause of the Revolution of 1776 and was repaid for this service by the state of North Carolina. The name of his first wife is not known but his second wife was Nancy Baldridge of Lincoln County, N. C. His children included five daughters and two sons. He died 17 Oct 1822 at 76 years of age."
