METROPOLIS, Ill. — Andrea Alfter, 42, of Metropolis, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.
She was a receptionist for Dr. Brush in Metropolis.
She is survived by five brothers, Curtis Alfter of Karnak, Garvin Alfter of Jackson, Tenn., William Alfter of Aurora, Steven Alfter of Ozark, and Troy Alfter of Oswego; two sisters, Cathy Leggett of Sandwich and Lisa Carlton of Montgomery.
Her mother was Ilene Corzine Alfter.
Services will be at noon Saturday at First Pentecostal Church in Karnak. The Rev. Jeff Barham will officiate. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery in Cypress.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak is in charge of arrangements.
