Harriett M. Branigin
Harriett Mabel Branigin, 78, died Saturday at Westview Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born Dec. 25, 1913 in Nineveh Township. Her parents were James Alvin Riggs and Ethel (Mullikin) Riggs. She married Clarence Branigin in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1951. Survivors include a sister, Betty (Alice) Wood; three brothers, Ranson Riggs of Englewood, Fla., Robert Riggs of Zionsville and Marion Riggs; six nephews; and five nieces. She was also preceded in death by a brother, George Riggs, and a sister, Dorothy Riggs.
She was a homemaker. She attended Edinburgh and Nineveh schools. The Rev. Shan Rutherfort will conduct a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nineveh Cemetery.
