Graveside services for Billy Joe Wright, 72, of Palestine will be at Cedar Creek Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Horine officiating.
He was born to William and Rosie Maxwell Wright. He had lived in Palestine all his life and had worked many years for Knox Glass Containers. He loved animals and old cars and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Billy Joe was a kind gentleman who never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Nancie Wright; son, Jamey Wright and wife Kristy; daughters, Kelli Jo McNeill and husband Brian and Stephanie Sheridan and husband Bryan; brothers, Jesse Wright (Mary), Roger Wright (Margaret) and James Wright; sister, Louise Lambright; grandchildren, Baili Gomez, Lesley McNeill, Chase Wright, Tye Sheridan, Kerriann Wright, Madison Sheridan, Audrey McNeill and Isabella McNeill and three great grandchildren.
