Eleanor first married Vance Bethel Bowman (1820-1853) they had 5 children & had moved to Iowa, where his family had earlier moved. They were coming back to Tn. In a Wagon Train when he was in an accident & was killed near Missouri border in 1853. She returned to White Co Tn where in 1854 she married Levi Perkins (1787-1876) They had 1 child, Elizabeth Jane Perkins(1855-1932)
