Services will be held for Hugh A. Griffith, who died Thursday in Watsonville after an extended illness. He was 93.
A Watsonville resident, Mr. Griffith was a native of Fredericksburg, Texas, who came to Santa Cruz County 54 years ago from Mason, Texas area. He was truck driver who counted fishing among his hobbies.
Survivors include three daughters, Vaunda Johnson of Mason, Texas, Lillian Griffith and Betty Griffith, both of Watsonville; and two sons, Hugh Griffith of Duncan, Ariz., and Victor Griffith of Greenville. He also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
His wife, Ida Mae, died in 1995.
Services will be held 2p.m., Monday at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park, Watsonville.
