Julie Ann Gauthier, 59, of Kelso passed away peacefully into her savior’s arms Sept. 21, 2017, at home from cancer. She was born Dec. 16, 1957, to Dick and Dorothy Gauthier. She attended Mark Morris High School and Natural High.
Julie was a gentle, loving person who uplifted those who were sad with comforting words, gifts and the beautiful artwork she created. Julie enjoyed sending cards to her aunts, whom she loved dearly. Julie had a gift for creating uniqueness out of nothingness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Dorothy Gauthier; and numerous aunts and uncles. She wrote memorials and poems and made picture notebooks in their honor. Julie is survived by her good friend, Dave Clouse; her cousin, Lisa Hill who was like a sister to her; a sister, Marsha Gauthier; a brother, Steve Gauthier; two aunts, Ruth Williams and Marge Price; an uncle, Dale Luokkala; and her nephews and nieces.

Julie would want a special remembrance to Mark Swingle for his help during her fight with cancer. He passed from a massive heart attack Oct. 17. A special thanks to Susan Sherwin of Steele Chapel for all her help.

A celebration of Julie’s life will be announced at a later date.
Contributions in Julie’s name may be made to the Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. Box 2067, Longview, WA 98632.
