Margarita Isabel Lochner died in Antioch, March 1, 2007 at age 87 years. Born in Carroll, Iowa, Feb 28, 1920, her youth was spent in Glidden Iowa. She graduated from Broadlawns Polk County School of Nursing in DesMoines, Iowa in 1941. Served from 1943-1946 in the Army Nursing Corps. She attended University in Minnesota and graduated with a BS degree in 1951 from UC Berkeley. Survived by her son, Robert T. Lochner of Brentwood, CA., Sister-in-Law, Dagney Padilla of San Diego. Also survived by a niece and nephew and many cousins. Pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph P. Lochner and a brother, Donald G. Padilla. She was a member of Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Buckhorn, Lifetime member of the Parents Teachers Assoc. and the UC Berkeley Alumni Association.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Buckhorn, Wed, March 7, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Rosary at church Tuesday at 7:00 PM
Interment at Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer.
