Harold L Bannon, 87 yrs old, passed away at Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington on Monday, October 16th, 2017. He lived in Monroe, Washington for 7 years and Olympia, Washington prior to that. Harold was born on April 20th, 1930 in Tonasket, Washington to parents George and Mildred Bannon.

He had two brothers, along with many other half-brothers and sisters. Harold graduated from a small high school in Eastern Washington. After graduation he joined the Army and was shipped to Korea during the Korean War. When he returned to the states he met and married the love of his life. They lived in Wenatchee together on an apple orchard for some time before settling in Olympia when Harold's job brought them west.

Harold became an Electrician and worked for the State of Washington at the State Capital building for many years, one of Harold's jobs had him working on the hydroelectric dams in Eastern Washington as well. Harold enjoyed antique shopping, rock collecting, baseball card collections, visiting lighthouses, watching the sail boats in Olympia, and spending time with his family.

Harold is survived by his wife, two children, three grandchildren and one brother.

He was preceded in death by parents George and Mildred Bannon.

There will be a memorial service in his honor on Saturday, Oct. 28th, 2017 at 1pm at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd SW, Tumwater WA 98512 with an inurnment to follow at Mills & Mills Memorial Park.
