WHITEWATER— Kathleen J. Ardelt, 76, of 311 N. George St., Whitewater, WI, died Friday, March 2, 2007, at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1930, in Elkhorn, WI, daughter of Walter and Avis (Messerschmidt) Mallette. Kathleen married Donald Ardelt on Oct. 15, 1949, in Whitewater; Donald died on July 28, 1999. They owned and operated Majestic Cleaners in Whitewater for many years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Whitewater. She is survived by 3 children: Robert (Connie) Ardelt, Connie (Dan) Foerster, and William (Penny) Ardelt, all of Whitewater; 6 grandchildren: Robert, Nicole, and Ross Ardelt, Robert, Elizabeth, and Benjamin Foerster; and a sister, Linda Hoffman of Hendersonville, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and her parents. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at ST. PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Whitewater, with Father Thomas Suriano officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Whitewater. Visitation will be on Wednesday at the CHURCH from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made in Kathleen's name to Rainbow Hospice, 147 W. Rockwell, Jefferson, WI 53549.
