Mr. Adams was born in Savannah, Ga., and moved to Bronson from Miami in 1990. He was a retired cable splicer and troubleshooter for Florida Power & Light.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jennie Adams of Bronson; a daughter, Kim Burkett of Trenton; a son, Chris Adams of Bronson; sisters Helen Burton of Lakeland, Thelma Myles of Lecanto and Jeanette King of Belleview; brothers Talmadge Adams of Dunwoody, Ga., and Thomas Adams of Winter Haven; and four grandchildren.
