FULTON - Clara Faye Carpenter Moore, 79, died Friday, March 16, 2007, at her home. She was born July 25, 1927, in Mississippi to the late Troy and Willie Vanhozen Adams. She was a Baptist and a factory worker. She loved her family and enjoyed gospel music and fishing.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Earl Wilson and Bro. Darren Owens officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Garden.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Owens (Kenny Beasley) of Fulton and Cathy Frederick (Frank ) of Kenosha, Wis; three sons, Jerry Carpenter (Ann) of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Charles Carpenter of Fulton and Terry Carpenter of Kenosha, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Peggy Cates (Donny) and Anissia Loden (Kip) both of Mantachie; two stepsons, Ronnie Moore (Judy) of Saltillo and Bonny Moore (Noel) of Baldwyn; one brother, Roy V. Adams (Bonnie) of Fulton; several nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren, 12great-grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 5 stepgreat-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marshal Carpenter and Coy Moore; a daughter, Virginia Lynn Carpenter; a sister, Catherine Adams Burns; a stepbrother, Junior "Sampson" Johnson; her parents; a stepson, Bobby Moore; and her stepmother, Gladys Johnson Adams.
