Born July 21, 1907, in Tipton, Tenn., he was a son of Noah and Lillie M. Flowers Adams. He married Bessie B. Curlbreath Oct. 30, 1937, in Crittenden County, Ark.
He was a construction worker.
Surviving are his wife; three sons, William W., Melvin and Lonnie; two daughters, Cora E. and Rose Mary Adams, all of Peoria; two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Yancy and Mrs. Mabel Brickerson, both of Detroit; and one brother, Gonnie L., in Tennessee. Two sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be at St. Paul Baptist Church, the Rev. Amos Abbott officiating and burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
