August 6, 1967 ~ October 30, 2017 (age 50) Mrs. Crystal Annette York, 50 of Brodhead, wife of Richard “Red” York, the daughter of the late Eddie and Sheryl Hammock Brown, passed away Monday, October 30th, 2017 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born on August 6th, 1967 in Brodhead, KY. On November 25th, 1985 she was united in Holy Matrimony to Richard “Red” York and from that union came two children, Michael and Lindsay. They had enjoyed 34 years together. She loved Red, her children, grandchildren. She worked 14 years as a nurses aide at the Rockcastle Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Those left to celebrate her life are: her husband Richard “Red” York, her children Michael York (Brandie) of Mt. Vernon, KY and Lindsay York of Brodhead, KY; four grandchildren Kirsten, Haley, Breylan and Eli; brothers Glenn Brown, Scotty Brown, Aaron Green and Shannon Green; her sister; Summer Brown as well as many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 2PM on Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 at Piney Grove Cemetery with Bro. Gary Michael Parker officiating.
