Funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Ferebee Capshaw, age 84, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at Wells Hill Church of Christ with Bro. Richard McWilliams and J.B. Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Hollow Cemetery next to her husband, Howard Haston Capshaw.
Betty was born on September 26, 1934 in Belleview, TN to the late Rufus Bryant and Nannie Maude Loggins Ferebee. She worked as the Clerk and Master for Lincoln County and retired in 2005. She was a member of Wells Hill church of Christ. She loved her family and working crossword puzzles. Mrs. Capshaw passed away on April 17, 2019 at her residence.
Survivors include her children, Sandra (Bobby) Arnold of Fayetteville, TN, Linda (Buck) Sisk of Fayetteville, TN, Robert (Sibbianne) Capshaw of Lynchburg, TN, and William Capshaw of Conersville, TN; grandchildren, Robert Arnold, III, Melissa Maddox, Ginger Loh, Heather Stewart, Kristen (Julian) Deloach, Austin Capshaw, Summer Capshaw, and Kiah Capshaw; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, William Ferebee, Wilma Wilson, and Francis Moran.
