Alice Anna Aines 75, of Saint Joseph, MO passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 in Saint Joseph, MO health care center. She was born November 27, 1941 in Kansas City, MO, daughter of the late Leslie and Jordan Zlateff. She was a Homemaker who loved animals. She was of the Catholic faith. Alice was preceded in death by husband, Lewis H. Aines Jr., her parents, brothers, Donald and Jordan Zlateff Jr., and her sister, Elsie Stahlhut. Survivors include daughters, Angela (Dave) Ball, St. Joseph, MO, and Theresa Schaefer (Steve Dravenstott), Grandview, MO, 2 grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Ball, brother, "Rocko" Rayko Zlateff, Prairie Village, KS, and sister, Esther Prouty, Portland, OR and her former husband, Al Schaefer.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 2:00 pm at the St. James Catholic Church, Father Joseph Totton Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Inurnment will be at the King Hill Cemetery
