Mr. Beadnall was born in St. Joseph, where he was a lifelong resident.
He married Lillie Irene Robison on May 17, 1940. They were married for over 50 years before her death.
He retired from Beadnall Corp., formerly Beadnall Electric, in October of 1980. He and his wife worked together for over 30 years. He was founder, owner and president.
Charles supervised maintenance operations for the Quarter Masters Sub-Depot in St. Joseph during World War II. He formerly worked at Quaker Oats and Swift Packing.
Mr. Beadnall also was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Emma (Ehlers) Beadnall; and his infant daughter, Carolyn Kay.
He was a member of the 17th Street congregation of the Community of Christ Church, where he was formerly pastor, elder, deacon and treasurer. He served on numerous boards, including Camp FarWesta, Midtown Neighborhood Association, FarWest Helping Hands, Liahona Credit Union and the St. Joseph City Charter Commission.
Other longterm commitments included lifetime member and past president of the Downtown Sertoma Club, and over 50 years of membership and service to Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors: Marvin Charles, Barbara S. Landers; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Community of Christ Church, St. Joseph. Interment followed at Ashland Cemetery, St. Joseph.
