Mrs. Pesnell was born in Carroll County on October 7, 1914, the daughter of the late Hardy W. Dyer and Maynard Eady Dyer. She was a homemaker and of the Primitive Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Max D. Harper; granddaughter, Brenda (Ronnie) Green; great-grandchildren, Dawn Maradiaga, Dusty Griffin; and two great-great-grandchildren, all of Carrollton.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Grady D. Harper and Al Pesnell; a sister, Louise D. Smith; and a niece, Amelia (Smith) Anders.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 15, 2008, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Patterson and Minister Allen Howard officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, February 14, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Interment will be in the Bethany Christian Church Cemetery.
