Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Virginia Overton, 79, were held Friday afternoon at the Liberty Hill cemetery near Frankston, the Rev. Simpson, pastor of the Frankston Baptist Church officiating.
Deceased had a large number of relatives in Henderson county, including Mrs. J.D. Pierce of Athens.
Surviving are two sons, Russell Parmer and Walter Overton, both of Frankston; three daughters, Mrs. John Riley of Frankston; Mrs. Charles Chelf of Tyler and Mrs. Arthur Bussey of Frankston; thirty-three grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.- Contributed by Wayne Smith∼Wife of Joseph C Overton.
