We had forgotten to mention the sad death of Wm. Barnhill which occurred at Gibbs some time ago. He was an old resident of Knox, having lived south east of Edina for many years. About the 1st of July he and his wife started to Canton on a visit and when near their destination he showed symptoms of insanity so strongly that she deemed it best to bring him home. He lived 17 days without eating or allowing any one else to eat in his presence, or having any fire in the cook stove. In no other way did he manifest anything unusual for an insane person. — J. C.
