Mrs. Andersen was born October 13, 1925, to Harry and Emily (née Greenfield) Carlson at Powers, OR. When she was nine years old, she moved with her family to Balaton. She graduated from high school in Russell and studied nursing in Sioux Falls, SD. A licensed practical nurse, she practiced in Tracy, Marshall, Mankato, and Fargo. She married Kenneth Andersen in Tyler. They moved to Fargo in 1950.
Mrs. Andersen was survived by her husband; one brother and his wife, William and Violet of Mankato; and two nieces.
