According to Findagrave, Capt Henry C FORDHAM age 45 died in San Francisco and was buried in Yerba Buena cemetery there. The cemetery was closed in 1871 and many graves were moved to Golden Gate cemetery (which was a Potter's field) which is now also defunct. Henry's remains thankfully ended up back with his family.
