"Mrs. Catherine Bacher Delahant died suddenly yesterday afternoon of a heart attack at her home, 220 Quail Street. She had suffered a previous attack Saturday. Mrs. Delahant was the widow of John Henry Delahant. A half-brother of the late Anthony N. Brady, Albany financier, Mr. Delahant, who succeeded Mr. Brady in the coffee and tea importing business in Albany, died about 30 years ago. Born at West Lebanon, Mrs. Delahant had lived in Albany 40 years. She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Vincent de Paul's Church. Her daughter, the late Catherine Delahant Riley, was the wife of Edward J. Riley, a partner in the firm of McManus & Riley, State Street clothiers. A sister, Mrs. Mary A. Delahant , survives. Funeral services will be Saturday morning at the home and later at St. Vincent de Paul's Church, where a Solemn Mass of Requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
