Robert Lee Cheers, age 91, of Shallotte passed away on Monday October 23, 2017 at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.
He was born in Brunswick County on August 19, 1926 the son of Mr. & Mrs. Claude Cheers and preceded in death by his wife, Alice Cheers and a son, Clifton Cheers.
Surviving are his children, Ronald Cheers, Wendy Black, Alice Milligan, Delores Chestnut and Saundra Long; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
