He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired supervisor from Murray Ohio, and a member of Park Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ida Mae Hudson Bennett; his wife, Beatrice Perry Bennett; and one son, Roger Bennett.
He is survived by granddaughters, Daina Thompson and Tina Faulkner; 9 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
