Monroe Ainsworth Dies Here Friday
Monroe C. Ainsworth of Greenville, employee of the United States Engineers for nine years, died Friday afternoon in a Vicksburg hospital following an operation. He was 54. (if he was 54, he would have been born abt. 1894
Funeral arrangements in charge of Wells Funeral Home were incomplete Saturday afternoon.
Born at Brookhaven, he lived his early life there and for several years was a planing mill operator. Mr. Ainsworth came to Greenville in 1928.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ora Bell Ainsworth, and a son, William Ainsworth of Greenville; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Pearson of Greenville, Mrs. Victoria Bellnap of Ashfiat?, Ark., and Mrs. Agnes Lee of New York City, and a sister, Mrs. J.D. Lofton of Brookhaven.
