Lois Fuller, “Meme” as she became known later in life, died peacefully at Community Hospital of Anaconda on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Lois was born September 14, 1934 in Anaconda to John and Mildred Dillon.

Lois was raised and educated in Anaconda and worked at Head Start for 34 years where she was the “Principal”. Lois also was the owner of Classic Duds and Jewelry of Anaconda.

Lois married Francis “Mick” Fuller on September 28, 1954. Lois and Mick lived in various places in Montana but settled down in Anaconda where they raised their four sons.

Lois thoroughly enjoyed life and was often the “life of the party” at family gatherings at the Fuller cabin at Georgetown Lake and for that matter, at any family gathering.

Lois was always an avid sports fan, known for her boisterous support of her four sons. After Mick passed in 1993, Lois enjoyed traveling to watch her grandsons sporting events and carried on the tradition of (boisterously) supporting the Fuller boys. In Lois’s eyes, they could do no wrong!

Lois also liked to travel, gamble, play BINGO, BUNCKO, KENO, eat chocolate (or any sweet), tease her grandkids, not listen to Kevin or Ken or her doctors, and go out for dinner.

Lois was proud of her Irish heritage. She was a member of the Anaconda Catholic Community, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Red Hats, and a volunteer at Community Hospital of Anaconda.

Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mick and their son Laurie Duane Fuller, her parents, her brothers Bernie and Larry Dillon, her parents in law, Lyle and Margaret Fuller and special travel companion, Noreen Vuckovich.

Lois is survived by her sons, Michael, Kevin (Janet) Fuller and Ken (Jackie) Fuller; daughter-in-law Editha Fuller and her grandchildren Jennifer (Mike) Wright, Kimberly, Colin, Connor (Kerianne), Joe, Teah, Kennah and Norma Fuller and Great grandchildren Kairi, Austin, Ashtyn and X’ander.

As Lois loved to celebrate life, we will celebrate Lois’s life on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Anaconda, MT. The funeral mass will begin at 10:30 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service.

Lois will be laid to rest next to Mick at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends and family are also invited to a luncheon following the burial in the Hunthausen Center at Holy Family Church.

Lois’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Kelly who graciously took Lois to Dialysis in Butte for years, the nurses at Fresenius Kidney Care of Butte and special friends Joan Moodry, Jean Stergar, Becky Finnegan and Kotch Francisco for their many visits to Lois while she was at Genesis of Butte.

Memorials in Lois’s name can be made to the Anaconda Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Head Start of Anaconda Scholarship Fund or simply sneak a sweet and think of Lois!

Sleep with the Angels, Meme, we love you!
