Farmer Is Killed In Truck Crash
Glasgow--A 61-year-old Valley county farmer was killed when his truck bounced across a barrow pit and and smashed into an earth bank.
Fred E. Cool of Larslan died within a few minutes after the Thursday morning accident on a county road about 40 miles northeast of Glasgow.
A passenger, the Rev. Rolland A. Murphey of Opheim, apparently escaped serious injury. He was treated in a doctor's office here.
Murphey told Coroner Peterson that the truck just seemed to edge off the road. Cool was thrown out when it hit the steep bank.
Cool leaves a widow and four daughters.
