Margaret D. Anderson, 93, of Glen Burnie passed away on September 14, 2017 at her residence.

Margaret was born on April 29, 1924 to the late Benjamin Tyler and Nannie M. (Sanford) Anton in Virgnia. She married the love of her life the late Franklin Pierce Anderson in 1945. She was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church in Glen Burnie. She was an avid gardener with an exceptional green thumb that would cause anything planted to grow. She was most of all devoted to her family she enjoyed spending time and making memories with them
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Franklin P. Anderson; her siblings, Nancy Anderson,Nellie Harrison , and William Anton.

She was the devoted mother of, William R. Anderson and his wife, Jean; beloved momo of; Jaime Shewbridge and Patrick Beever; and Ryan Anderson and his wife, Erin; caring great-grandmother of Catherine, Shelby, and Alexzandra Shewbridge, and Ethan Anderson.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, S.W. (at Crain Hwy) in Glen Burnie, from 10 AM until 12 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 20th for visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will follow visitation at12 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery.
