He was a high school graduate and a construction worker in the home building business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jimmy Edward and a daughter, Amber Drake.
He is survived by one son, Jimmy Drake of Wichita, Kansas and two daughters, Sarah Drake Countryman of Wichita, Kansas and Ali Drake Farber of Spencer, Oklahoma; two brothers, Phillip Drake of Grove, Oklahoma and Thomas Ray Drake; three sisters, Cherri Kay Crittendon of Southwest City, Missouri, Vicky Dawn Drake of Texas and Elisa Rodriguez; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Sunday October 22, 2017 at Davenport Cemetery in Davenport, Oklahoma.

He spent his retirement working part time as a handyman and spending time with his great grandchildren. In the loving arms of Jesus, he will be missed.
