Miss Katherine Adams, 69, died in Hepburn Hospital at noon Wednesday (Mar. 2, 1960). She had been a patient at Hepburn for the past four weeks. The body will rest at the home where she had lived all her life, at 510 Proctor Ave. Funeral services will be held there Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to be followed at 10 o'clock by a solemn funeral Mass of requiem at St. Mary's Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The Randell Ewart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Surviving Miss Adams are a brother, William Adams of Route 2, Ogdensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Miss Adams was born in Ogdensburg, Apr. 16, 1890, the daughter of the late Gideon and Mary Quinn Adams. She attended St. Mary's Academy and for many years, thereafter, worked for the Randall's Manufacturing Co., retiring about four years ago. Miss Adams was a life long member of St. Mary's Cathedral parish and of the Sacred Heart and Rosary societies of the parish.
