She was born at Braidwood, Ill. on March 9, 1889. [note: Death Index birth was March 7, 1897.]
She is survived by her husband, P.J. Berta; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Domonic Berta of Thayer; four sisters, Mrs. Flavino Corsini of Gardner; Lucy, Katie and Tomasina [sic] of Thayer; two brothers, Domonic of Thayer and Joseph Berta of Chicago.
The funeral was at St. Katherine's [sic] church.
Interment was in Virden cemetery.
