EAST LIVERPOOL – Stuart "Wayne" Diven, formerly of Industry, Pennsylvania, passed away at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at The Orchards of East Liverpool. He was 84.

Born in Cokeville, Pennsylvania, July 30, 1933, Wayne was a son of the late Jesse Robert and Mildred Morton Diven. He had retired from the former Crucible Steel Company in 1982 and had lived most of his life in Western Pennsylvania before moving to East Liverpool.

A Korean War veteran, he served in the U.S. Army. Wayne was a member of the Smiths Ferry United Methodist Church, and was a 1952 graduate of Lincoln High School in Midland, PA.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Diane Diven Miladin, and her husband, Dr. Craig Miladin, of East Liverpool, a stepson, Milan Vitolich, of Blanco, Texas, and a sister, Sondra Gilmer of Chester. There are also two grandchildren, Atlas and Afton Miladin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joan Diven, a stepson Danny Vitolich, and a sister Joyce Camp.
