Mattie B. Woods was the daughter of Levi George ("Lee") Woods and Sallie E. Williams.
She married Virgil Roy Parrish, son of Edgar Louis Parrish and Laura Ann Sharp, on July 17, 1903, in Atoka County, Oklahoma; the couple had one child, a daughter, namely:
Dorothy Inez (Parrish) [Foster] Silverose (1904-1987).
Mattie, Virgil, and Dorothy Inez migrated from Oklahoma to California around 1913 and settled in Stanislaus County where they appeared on the 1920 Census. Between 1920 and 1922, the marriage ended. Mattie and Dorothy Inez moved to San Francisco where they lived at 1134 Castro Street. Mattie died at their home of chronic heart disease; she was only 38.
