Donna Walters Flock, of Boise, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Edgewood Spring Creek in Eagle, ID.
Donna was born January 21, 1924 in Long Beach, CA. A daughter of Lancaster C. and Winnie Harris Walters she grew up in the Mangum, OK, Pampa, TX and Los Angeles, CA. Donna graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School, in Los Angeles, CA.
Donna married F. Verne Flock on October 9, 1947 in Glendale, CA. Together they had a son and two daughters.
Donna's employment and career involved working as the Business Manager for School District 8C in Ontario, OR until her retirement in 1986. She was active in the Ontario Soroptimist Club.
Donna was an active member of the Boise Church of Christ.
Donna enjoyed genealogy research, quilting, needlepoint and cross-stitch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband F. Verne Flock, a sister Wilma J. Walters, a daughter Traci J. Flock, a brother Carl H. Walters, a sister Lois D. Pope, a brother-in-law Howard Pope, a sister V. Nell Taylor and a brother-in-law Edward M. Taylor.
Donna is survived by a son, Lynn V. Flock and spouse Margy A. Kumpis of Agua Dulce, CA; daughter, Susanne L. Van Burger and spouse Wayne A. Van Burger of Coquille, OR; daughter, Claudia J. Flock of Star, ID; grandson L. Alan Scoggins and spouse Rushanna B. Kenoyer of Star, ID; grandson, Ty A. Van Burger of Portland, OR; granddaughter, Lauryn L. (Van Burger) Hager and spouse Christopher R. Hager of Fargo, ND; great grandchildren, Carly E. Scoggins, Kayden D. Scoggins, David M. Scoggins and Emery J. Hager; a sister-in-law, Donna J. (Oldenberg) Walters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
