Betty Jane Andreatta, 86, of Springfield, died at 8:35 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at her home.

Betty was born September 3, 1931 In Athens, the daughter of Harry and Fannie (Cole) Gudgel. She married Albert A. Andreatta on June 11, 1955; he preceded her in death.

Betty graduated from Athens High School, class of 1949. She worked for Western/South Life Insurance Company, and was an office manager of Village of Grandview. She was a member of St. Aloysius, Fit Club, and was involved in many church activities.

Betty was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and five sisters.

She is survived by her children, Mary Andreatta-Carlock of Springfield; Albert (Carol) Andreatta of Plano, Texas, and Andrew (Pat) Andreatta of Littleton, Colorado; nephew, Brett (Stephanie) Grider of Springfield; sister-in-law Emma Brandon; brother-in-law, Tony (Pat) Andreatta; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th Street, Springfield. The visitation will end with a prayer service.

Funeral Mass: 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2000 E. Sangamon Ave, Springfield with Rev. Clint Honkomp, OP, celebrant.

Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
