Funeral for Mrs. Fred (Ruby Faye) Buan, 7207 N. Vincent St., will be at 1:30 p.,. Tuesday at Mikeworth's Peninsula Funeral Home, with interment at Portland Memorial Mausoleum. She died Saturday at a local hospital.
Born in Aurora, Missouri, Feb. 14, 1893, Mrs. Buan came to Portland area 57 years ago. She was a member of First Christian Church, Orenomah Chapter 141 OES and Portland Chrysanthemum Society.
Mrs. Buan is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth L. Deaton, Portland; a brother, Frank Jernigan, Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Loye M. Bair and Mrs. Ethel Ells, both of Washougal, Wash.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
