Mrs. Edith Myers

Mrs. Edith Myers, 2719 N. W. Westover road, prominent in Multnomah county Red Cross work, died Tuesday morning at St. Vincent’s hospital, where she had been taken after collapsing at her desk.
The former Mrs. I. Aronson, she married George L. Myers, assistant treasurer and secretary of the Pacific Power and Light company, August 3, 1926. She was born in Travers West, Ky.
She had been on the board of directors of the Multnomah county chapter of the Red Cross since its organization in 1917. She was a captain of the Red Cross motor corps in the last war and was the organizer and chairman for five years of the Gray Ladies, hospital recreation service of the Red Cross. She also organized booth workers for the last war fund drive.
Her widower survives. She had no children. Funeral services will be announced from Holman & Lutz.
