Patricia Lianne "Pat" Bilslend, 84, of Wood River died Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at Wilber Care Center in Wilber.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, with the Rev. Darrel Holzinger officiating.

Burial will be in the Wood River Cemetery at Wood River.

Patricia Lianne "Pat" Bilslend was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Shelton, the daughter of Howard "Eric" and Marjorie M. (Argo) Felps.

She grew up and received her education in Shelton, graduating from Shelton High School with the class of 1950. She attended college in Wheaton, Ill.

She was united in marriage to Harold Bilslend on Dec. 21, 1951, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Hastings.

The couple made their home in Shelton.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Shelton and D.A.R.

She enjoyed crocheting and genealogy.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Scott and Terri Bilslend of Grand Island and Ward and Donna Bilslend of Kearney; a daughter, Nancy Wurst of Wilber; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Dallas Bilslend; and husband, Harold.
