Last Rites Slated For W. U. Riggle
FLOYDADA, Oct. 31--Final rites for W. U. Riggle, 66, a retired farmer, will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church here by the Rev. Ed Boles, pastor.
Burial will be in Floydada Cemetery under the direction of Harmon Funeral Home here.
Mr. Riggle died Thursday at his home in the Fairview Community. He had been a resident of Floyd County since 1916.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Roscoe, of Hays, S. D.; four daughters, Mrs. Hazel Counts of California, Mrs. Agnes Baker and Mrs. Ruth Jones, both of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Mae Pope of Floydada; and 12 grandchildren. (Source: newspaper unknown, 1958, transcribed by Camellia)
