Dean F. Hanson, formerly of Taylor, WI was 84 years of age when he passed away Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at Grand View Care Center in Blair. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Janice; brothers: Artis, Clayton and Laverne; sisters: Marie and Donna Rae; a nephew George; his aunt Rae; a sister-in-law Nila Hanson; and one brother-in-law Warren Wheelock.
Dean was born in the Town of Springfield on January 2, 1933, the son of the late Archie and Leva (nee Halverson) Hanson.
Dean was a loyal husband; he loved his family and had a great sense of humor. He appreciated new adventures and was always tinkering in his garage.
Services will be at Tuesday at Taylor Lutheran Church. Burial with military honors will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
